Common questions

Folding or rigid frame?
A folding chair is easier to put in a car. A rigid chair is lighter and takes less effort to push, which suits people who use it all day.

Can I get a wheelchair while I wait for my own?
Yes. Short-term equipment hire can keep you moving while your own chair is approved and delivered.

Can a wheelchair be funded?
Often, yes. NDIS, Support at Home and DVA can all fund this kind of equipment, usually with advice from an occupational therapist. See funding your equipment.
