Common questions

Why choose a hi-lo bed?
It rises to a safe working height for carers and lowers to make getting in and out easier. Low beds also reduce the risk of injury from a fall.

Can couples keep sharing a bed?
Yes. Some models, like Alrick's double profiling beds, let couples keep sleeping side by side.

Can I hire a bed?
Yes. Short-term equipment hire can cover a hospital discharge or a wait for your own bed.

A tilting care bed for bariatric clients, with a 300 kg safe working load. The Alrick 2300 adds features that make care safer and more comfortable for the person and their carers.
2400 ALRICK Bed
A heavy duty tilting bed for bariatric care, with a 400 kg safe working load. The Alrick 2400 is built to keep the person comfortable and the carers safe.
7001GW-D – ALRICK Profiling Bed
A double profiling bed that lets a couple keep sleeping side by side, with the care features one or both of you need. It raises and lowers, adjusts the back and knees electrically, and lights the floor at night to help prevent falls.
ALRICK 8000 Companion Bed
The 8000 Series Companion bed allows two patients can be cared for in comfort and dignity. The back rests work independently, and, if specified, can be fitted with the unique Protek2 fan. This innovative safety feature stops heads, arms, pets or anything else getting trapped underneath the back rest if one is raised and the other flat. It features electric hi-low, electric knee brake, and a 300kg working load. The actuators are heavy duty, ensuring efficient, reliable function, and are warrantied for five years. The steel bed frame is warrantied for ten years. The 8000 Series bed is available in both Double and Queen size.
ALRICK Plexa Series Bed
The Plexa Series Bed is designed to provide safe and comfortable sleeping arrangements for individuals with complex needs. This bed includes full-length rails to provide security, featuring a locking system, ensuring the rails stay in place while the user is sleeping.
An additional feature is the height adjustment making transfers in and out of bed with ease, designed with a durable frame and available in various sizes to accommodate the user’s needs.
CARETURNER Bed
A turning system that gently moves a person from side to side through the night, to help prevent pressure injuries. The Careturner means one carer can manage repositioning safely.
Casero Duo
A versatile low electric bed, designed for home and aged care use. The Duo Bed includes a width and length expandable sleeping surface, which expands the bed from single to king single and length from Standard to extended 2200mm.
The Duo Bed has a partial wheel locking system, allowing for easy moving of the bed, and comes with standard electric bed features of Hi/ Low, Back Elevation, Knee Break and Trendelenburg function.
