STEALTH – i2i Head Support
The Stealth i2i was designed to be used as a therapeutic tool to encourage active head control within a limited range. It offers integrated support to the entire cervical spine (posteriorly, laterally and anteriorly if the chin prompt is needed), the sub-occipital area (to provide a resting spot for the head), and the anterior upper thoracic area, which often requires cueing, and support to promote good alignment. In addition to its value as a therapeutic tool for working on active head control, the i2i assists by helping improve eye contact with promotes socialisation; improves ability to communicated and interpret responses and improved ease of feeding. SUPRACOR Stimulite Classic Cushion
Supracor cushions are constructed from Stimulite; a soft, flexible, lightweight form of aerospace honeycomb. When sitting on a Stimulite cushion, the compressed cells radiate outwards to surround and support the user, self-adjusting to each individual while providing excellent stability.
A unique ventilation system made up of tiny perforations in the cell walls allows air to circulate both horizontally and vertically, creating an ideal microclimate for long-term sitting comfort. Each cell of Stimulite honeycomb is perforated to allow air to flow both vertically and horizontally, keeping the body temperature from rising and preventing humidity. To complete the ventilation system, the cushion covers are made of natural, breathable fabrics that work with the honeycomb to wick away moisture and minimise sweat. Stimulite honeycomb relieves pressure by distributing it away from hotspots and bony, and the honeycomb cells conform to body shape and distribute weight uniformly.
