  • OXFORD Switch

    The Oxford® Switch is designed to help a person with reduced mobility, stand from a seated position and enable their transfer from one point to another.   • OXFORD Up

    The Oxford Up 200 is a uniquely designed manual stand-aid and transfer device, suitable for those who require assistance when standing but are able to contribute effort to the process.

    By encouraging user participation, the Oxford Up 200 can play a supportive role in patient rehabilitation, function, and independence.

  • Pivot Frame

    The Pivot Frame is suitable when patients need to be tilted for upper body stability, or they need to sit upright to position themselves suitably.

    Compatible with pivot slings, the Pivot Frame has a 4-sling attachment point (2 at the top and 2 in the lower centre).

    The frame is compatible with the following hoists:

    • Powder coated pivot frame with a safe working load of 200kg
    • Complete with a secure press fit self-skinning polyurethane cover
    • Suitable for lifting with weigh scale attachment

    The Pivot Frame with Integrated Weigh Scale can facilitate patient positioning and monitor patient wellbeing simultaneously.

    With a 200kg weight capacity, the pivot frame is used in conjunction with a pivot sling.

    It’s most helpful in preventing inadvertent tilting of the pivot frame.

    The Monarch Fixed Ceiling Hoist is a compementary product to other products for individuals with mobility challanges. It is designed for use by caregivers and health professionals to lift and transfer a person in a homecare, assisted-living or hospital environment.

    The Monarch Fixed Ceiling Hoist is one of the only ceiling hoists on the market using reliable lithium ion (Li-ion) battery technology. Most competitor products use Lead-acid (heavy, toxic, low cycle life) or NiMh.

  • ReTurnBelt

    Handicare’s patented SystemRoMedic™ ReTurnBelt is an excellent complement to ReTurn when there is a need for greater support and stability; for example, when the user’s weight-bearing ability is questionable or varies. ReTurnBelt can also be used separately, for support during sit-to-stand and to stabilize the user in an upright position, for example, during standing training, gait training and transfer.

    ReTurnBelt is available in three materials and in many sizes to fit most users, from the smallest to the very largest.

    The classic version of ReTurnBelt is made from strong and durable polyamid. The belt features an anti-slip inside of moisture repellent, PU-coated nylon and and can therefore be used in environments where moisture and dampness are present or when there are special demands on hygiene. The fabric also ensures that the belt does not slide up but stays in place.

    ReTurnBelt is easily placed around the user’s hips. The quick-connect buckle is strong and safe and easy to open, close and tighten. Two strong, sturdy, easy-to-grasp handles on either side of the belt provide the caregiver with a safe grip to guide and support the user. When the user is standing, ReTurnBelt can easily be attached to ReTurn’s rising ladder/centre post.

  • RoMedic ReTurn

    The ReTurn is easy to use, and effective assistive device used to enable safe sit-to-stand and transfers to or from bed, wheelchair and toilet and as a rehabilitation device. The ReTurn can also be used to facilitate repositioning further back in a chair or wheelchair. Intended for users who retain some degree of strength, it stimulates the natural pattern of movement during sit-to-stand while strengthening the muscles and functional ability.
