  • One Touch Can Opener

    One Touch Can Opener

    The One Touch Can Opener is great for anyone who is tired of opening a can with a traditional can opener. Its hands-free operation reduces the struggle for children, the elderly and others with weak hands who find it difficult to turn manual can opener knobs. The one touch button makes the opener a useful kitchen aid for people with hemiparesis after a stroke and amputees. Plus, it doesn’t leave any sharp edges, making it a safe choice for all users.

    This can opener is easy to operate. Place it on the lid and press the button. The opener will walk itself around the can and switch off automatically. If the can’s diameter is greater than 3.5”, press the button again to finish cutting the lid. Then lift the device to easily remove the can’s lid after it’s been opened. No more twisting and pulling, it’s that easy!

    The small can opener is also convenient. It’s only 6-½” x 2-½” for easy storage when not in use. Battery operation means there aren’t any messy, tangled cords on the counter like an electric can opener. Remove the batteries and wipe the cutter with a damp cloth for easy cleaning.     OSCAR B24

    The B24 lift recliner has been designed for clients who may need their lift recliner to be wheeled around.  This function is especially useful in aged care facilities and recovery wards.

    The chair is fitted with large castors and a push handle at the top of the backrest, allowing for a resident to be moved around whilst seated in the chair. The rear castors are lockable with a foot operated break enabling the carer to lock the chair in place without having to bend.

    Fitted with a rechargeable lithium battery pack, the chair can be operated throughout the day without being connected to a power source, and can then be charged overnight for use the following day.

    It is available in two standard sizes:

    A to suit height ranges between 157cm (5’2”) to 173cm (5’8”)

    B to suit height ranges between 173cm (5’8”) to 180cm (5’11)

    The B24 is available with a single motor wall saver mechanism or dual motor mechanism and rated to 130kg.

    OSCAR Barwon

    The Barwon lift recliner provides comfort, is highly customisable and available with a large range of modifications. It features a three roll back, with a single head roll and twin back rolls.

    It is available in four standard sizes:

    • Mini to suit height ranges between 122cm (4’10”) to 1.57cm (5’2”)
    • A to suit height ranges between 157cm (5’2”) to 173cm (5’8”)
    • B to suit height ranges between 173cm (5’8”) to 180cm (5’11”)
    • C to suit height ranges over 180cm (5’11”)

    A large range of customisations are available to give the user the best fit.

    The lift assist function tilts and lifts the chair forward to aid with standing.  This relieves the strain of standing from a low position.

    Show wood arms offer further support, allowing you to hold onto the armrests while getting in and out of the chair.

    The tilted chair will catch the weight of the user, allowing them to ease themselves into a natural seated position.  This function also allows for a greater sense of independence.

    The Barwon is available with a single motor wall saver mechanism or dual motor mechanism and is rated to 130kg.

    The M5 lift recliner has been specifically designed for bariatric clients.   It is rated up to 320kg, with the footrest rated up to 80kg.

    It is available in 4 sizes:

    The M5 650 has a 650mm wide seat.  The M5 850 has a 850mm wide seat.  These chairs can have an additional 70mm added to the seat depth, seat height and footrest length.

    A range of standard features on the M5 include memory foam, a rechargeable lithium battery pack, 75mm castors and arm rest covers.

    Memory foam in the chair assists with both comfort and managing pressure related issues.

    The M5 has been built with 4 medical grade electric motors that allow separate control of the backrest, lift and footrest. This means that you can adjust the chair into the right combination of backrest angle, seat height and footrest elevation
