The JAY® Basic wheelchair back is designed to increase sitting tolerance and stability by adding a rigid component to the wheelchair that provides long-term postural support.

The J2 DC Back features a mildly curved shell for posterior pelvic and mild lateral thoracic stability. Its contoured foam insert distributes pressure over a wider area to increase comfort and reduce the risk of skin breakdown.
Designed for the client with complex needs.
Clinical Application:
– Client at high (std. cushion) to extreme (deep contour cushion) risk of skin breakdown with or without aggressive postural needs
– Symmetrical to significant postural needs requiring laterally, forward/rearward stability and/or positioning
– May be unable to reposition or perform an independent weight shift
Entry level pressure reducing foam cushion with its any way up Visco elastic memory foam that distributes weight evenly across the seated area.
Level of Care: Low
The original memory foam sandwich construction cushion. Thanks to its sandwich construction, the cushion can be used any way up. It’s temperature sensitive memory foam offers all day support.
